The scope of responsibilities includes preliminary and final designs evaluation, technical guidance on civil engineering rehabilitation works condition surveys.</span></span></span></div> <div> </div> <div><span style="font-size:10pt"><span style="font-family:"Courier New""><strong><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:11.0pt"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</span></span></strong></span></span> <ul style="margin-bottom:3px"> <li style="text-align:justify;list-style-position:inside"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="tab-stops:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Coordinate and evaluate the works of consultants and contractors to ensure satisfactory discharge of contractual obligation and compliance with job specification infrastructure. </span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;list-style-position:inside"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="tab-stops:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Evaluate the contractor’s implementation programme and recommend acceptance if the work sequence and duration are consistent with both the operational and resource constraints.</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;list-style-position:inside"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="tab-stops:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Manage project implementation such that deviation from the established programme is identified and recommend remedial action.</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;list-style-position:inside"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="tab-stops:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Participate in the procurement of contractual services, i.e., preparation of Terms of Reference, and evaluate and identify appropriate specification for project.</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;list-style-position:inside"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="tab-stops:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Evaluate/prepare tender documents to ensure that documents incorporate all the PAJ’s specific requirements and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and regulations.</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;list-style-position:inside"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="tab-stops:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Participate in evaluating the preliminary and final designs submitted by consultants and make recommendation, if required prior to acceptance.</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;list-style-position:inside"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="tab-stops:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Prepare project status report for each site meeting.</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;list-style-position:inside"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="tab-stops:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Conduct periodic inspection of the Authority’s facilities and identify remedial action if required.</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;list-style-position:inside"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="tab-stops:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Evaluate contractors and consultants’ invoices; recommend payments consistent with and correspond to the value of the service/work.</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;list-style-position:inside"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="tab-stops:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Review and verify escalation claims.</span></span></span></span></li> <li style="text-align:justify;list-style-position:inside"><span style="font-size:11pt"><span style="line-height:115%"><span style="tab-stops:18.0pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,sans-serif">Attend and manage site meetings;
